Experience the craft of building a wooden paddleboard in Portugal!

We’ve cut the traditional building process down to a 4-day format. We handle the routine prep work in the workshop beforehand, so you step right into the best parts: assembling the fishbone frame, gluing the hull, shaping, fiberglassing and polishing.

The intensive is held in a restored shale village hidden in the Portuguese mountains. It’s a place built for creative retreats – quiet, surrounded by nature, yet just an hour away from the ocean. You get four days of pure craft, local food, and the experience of shaping a board with your own hands.
